The walk will go via West Woodhay, Inkpen and Ham to the Plough PH in Shalbourne for lunch, a distance of about 9 miles. There’s a Leisure Centre and a Museum in the Park, both of which serve refreshments, and a Brewers Fayre (The Old Nelson) on Stratford Road, just outside the Park. The centre of Stroud is about half a mile away.There will be three linear walks; each with a different starting point, but all finishing at the same place. The coach will leave The Bus Station, Market Street, Newbury (grid ref SU471668) at 08:30 am. Price: £12 per person - cheques payable to West Berks Ramblers. Contact the coach organiser, by telephone or email, to check availability and to book seats on the coach: First come first served.
